What Inspired You To Become a Surrogate?:
I LOVED being pregnant with my two kids and I remember telling my husband that if I could be pregnant my whole life without having more kids, I would. When I was first introduced to surrogacy in our area through a friend of mine that was going through the process, it immediately made sense and was something that I had to explore!
What Is Your Favourite Memory From Your Surrogacy Journey(s)?:
My favourite memory is always that moment when the intended parents meet their baby for the first time. All my surrogacies ended in c-sections so, because I couldn’t be present at those moments, I always assigned someone to take photos as the intended parents were introduced to their baby. The joy and amazement in their faces is the reason I continued to be a surrogate. It’s as if that moment erases any pregnancy challenges or difficulties – like when you hold your own baby for the first time and everything up to that moment was worth it!
